The Catalonian Sheepdog or Gos d'Atura Catala is a highly intelligent breed that not only excels in herding, but is successful in agility, competitive stock dog trials, search and rescue missions, and of course as a loyal companion. They are gentle with children, friendly with other pets, and devoted to their family. They have an abundance of energy while at work or at play, yet are docile in the home, making them both an ideal pet and a dedicated working dog.
We are privileged to have breeding stock directly descendent of European and International Champions. Both of our females have been imported from Spain and our male comes directly from the Spanish Championship Espinavessa line. Within our breeding program our commitment is to preserve the original quality and strict breed standard of the Catalonian Sheepdog, keeping true to their origin.
